Strike a Pose
It seems as though all the wildlife in Peru loved to get their picture taken. This insect was no exception. The inscet is either a different looking butterfly then here in America, or it is just a very pretty moth. I am not sure. I am sure, however, that the bug flew right over to me, flew around me a few times, then landed on the ground in front of me just a few feet away. I caught a couple of nice shots of the bug, but this one is the easiest to see its pretty butterfly colors and its moth-like body. This was taken at Saqsaywaman. I reached out to its feet with my finger to let it climb on, but it only touched me breifly then flew away to strike a pose for another tourist.
